Docuplex and Contemporary Communications plan open house

Docuplex and Contemporary Communications are planning an open house and ribbon-cutting event Thursday, March 12, at their shared space at 630 N. Pennsylvania.

Tours of the facility, including Docuplex’s renovated 18,000-square-foot press room, will be available. There also will be appetizers, music and door prizes. The event begins at 3:30 p.m.

“We had certainly outgrown our old space,” Jay Ewy, president of Docuplex, said in a news release. “On one hand, it feels like we have all the space we could ever need. However, on the other, it feels like we’re already making pretty efficient use of most of the new spaces. I guess it comes with the territory when you’re constantly expanding.”

Shelby Hansard, general manager for Contemporary Communications said the transition, which started last spring, has gone well. Each company continues to operate independently.
