Espresso To Go Go received an Above and Beyond Award from the Kansas Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve in recognition of its support of an employee who serves in the Reserves.
McCurdy Auction earned five first-place and four second-place awards for public relations, photography, signage and radio ads at the National Auctioneers Association’s 65th International Auctioneers Conference and Show.
Capitol Federal Financial, the holding company of Capitol Federal Savings, was ranked 38th among midsized banks in Bank Director magazine’s 2014 Bank Performance Scorecard. It also had the highest capital rating among banks of its size, Bank Director said.

Koch Industries has officially “rocked a block” by building its seventh house with Wichita Habitat for Humanity, this time in Wichita Habitat’s revitalization area on North Poplar. Koch provided the funds and more than 500 employee volunteers to build the home, just purchased by the Lai family.
Koch Pipeline Co. donated 225 feet of pipe valued at more than $11,000 to Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology. The pipe will be used by students majoring in a new Pipeline Integrity Technology program.
