BuddyRest, a Wichita-based maker of high-end dog beds, has acquired the PetNV brand from Envision.

PetNV brand products, which are made at Envision in Wichita, include reflective leashes, collars and human companion belts. Envision is a nonprofit that aids the blind and those with low vision.

BuddyRest founder Trevor Crotts, who made a presentation earlier this month to “Shark Tank” star Daymond John when John spoke at the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce annual meeting, said the acquisition allows his company to expand into new product lines.

Trevor Crotts makes high-end dog beds under the BuddyRest name. Now he is going mass market with his high tech dog products under the PupIQ label. He presented at Wednesday's 1 Million Cups.

The Wichita startup accelerator e2e on Wednesday graduated its first class of entrepreneurs: KingFit, a health management platform; Knoxx, video resumes; green construction company Tru-Building; Reverie Coffee Roasters; BuddyRest, high-end dog bed
