Mayor to unveil Cargill site plans Thursday

Wichita Mayor Jeff Longwell will help unveil site plans for the new Cargill complex at his regular Thursday morning news conference.

Cargill is moving the headquarters for its meat divisions, now at 151 N. Main, to the site where the Wichita Eagle now sits at 825 E. Douglas.

The city will build a $10 million parking garage on the south end of the site that will be shared by employees and the public.
