Rand Mikulecky to retire from SHS
Rand Mikulecky, long-time managing partner for Sullivan Higdon & Sink, will retire in February after 35 years with the company.
Part of the leadership team that succeeded the original partners, Mikulecky helped lead SHS’s growth to nearly 140 employees in Wichita and Kansas City.
He came to SHS from Cessna in 1981, after co-founder Al Higdon persuaded him to help develop SHS’s aviation industry business. He became director of client services in 1987, president in 1997 and managing partner in 1998.
After leaving the agency, Mikulecky plans to travel with his wife, Susan. They have a daughter in Texas and a son in New York.
