Engineering

Jeffrey Lackey has been promoted to vice president/senior associate partner in the Wichita office of TranSystems.

Law

Charles Harris, Jeffrey Lowe, Lynn Ward and Michael Wilson, fellows of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, have been recognized in the Missouri & Kansas 2016 edition of Super Lawyers. Ward was also recognized by the same publication as ranking in the Top 50 Women lawyers.

Organizations

Jessica Buettgenbach, convention sales coordinator for Visit Wichita, has earned the credential of Certified Meeting Professional. The certification is granted through the Convention Industry Council.

Apprentice Wireman Corbin Rios won the Apprentice/Student division of the Ideal National Championship in Orlando, Fla., last month. He won $30,000 for finishing first, and the Wichita Electrical Training Center was awarded $5,000.
