The Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce is taking nominations for the Small Business Awards.
The program, now in its 13th year, offers recognition to small businesses for their achievements and contributions to the community. It also provides owners and employees the opportunity to showcase their company, share their story and be rewarded for their efforts.
The deadline for nominations is Dec. 9. The awards are presented by ComfortCare Homes and Occidental Management.
To be eligible for the award, companies must: be headquartered in the Wichita metro area; employ between 1-25 for Tier One, or 26-100 for Tier Two; have been in business at least three years; employ good business practices; have good employee relations; contribute to the community; and be a member of the chamber.
