New owner

Jenny Le has purchased Diamond Nails from Jennifer Nguyen. The professional nail care salon is at 7130 W. Maple, Suite 170, in the Maple Ridge Center. Le also has added new equipment and updated the facility. It is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The phone number is 316-943-3667.

Open house

Ceros Candies, 3429 E. Douglas, will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday featuring former owner Ed Cero. He also will be the featured guest chocolatier.

New location

Meritrust Credit Union has purchased 1.1 acres of land in Andover MarketPlace at the southeast corner of Kellogg and Andover Road to build a new branch. The branch is expected to open in early 2018, and Hutton Construction will be the general contractor.

New name

Pulaski Bank’s Wichita mortgage offices have changed their name to Busey Home Mortgage, following First Busey Corp.’s acquisition of Pulaski.

New service

Hydraulic Studio has added virtual reality video to its lineup of commercial video production services. Virtual reality video, or VR video, is created using two wide-angle lenses that can film 360 degrees.

Charity

Seven Wichita-area Rotary Clubs combined efforts to raise $7,750, which together with a 2-for-1 Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation match, resulted in a $23,250 donation to Rotary International’s End Polio Now campaign.

SMG Wichita employees volunteered at the Kansas Food Bank this week.
