Foulston Siefkin names Kevin Arnel new managing partner
Foulston Siefkin law firm on Friday said that Kevin Arnel has been elected as its new managing partner.
Arnel succeeds Doug Stanley, who died in April after a battle with cancer.
Arnel joined the firm in 1987 and was named partner in 1992. The firm said in a news release that in addition to his managing partner duties, Arnel, who is based out of the Wichita office, will continue to serve clients in the areas of tax exempt organizations, real estate, general business and estate planning law.
“I am humbled by the opportunity to serve as our managing partner,” Arnel said in the release. “Doug Stanley left the firm in a great place, and I look forward to furthering his legacy. The firm remains committed to expanding its capabilities and better serving our clients around Kansas and the Midwest.”
A Foulston spokesman said Arnel wasn’t available for an interview Friday.
Arnel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University and a law degree from Washburn University. In addition to his work at Foulston, Arnel serves on the boards of United Methodist Open Door and the Sedgwick County Zoological Society.
The Wichita-based firm also has offices in Overland Park and Topeka. It has 87 attorneys, 66 of whom are in Wichita.
