Cowley County to hold two job fairs for 300 positions

Cowley County will have two job fairs in March.

The first will be from 9 a.m. to noon, March 3 in Winfield High School Auxiliary Gym, 300 Viking Blvd.

The second will be from 3 to 5:30 p.m. March 4 in Cowley College Wright Room, 215 S 2nd St. in Arkansas City.

Businesses represented include Rubbermaid, Galaxy Technologies, City of Arkansas City and Winfield, KanPak, Twin Rivers Developmental, Jet AirWerks, Mosaic, Easter Seals Capper Foundation, Morton Buildings, MWV, S and Y Industries, Skyline Homes, the Arnold Group, Western Industries, Four County Mental Health, Creekstone Farms Premium Beef, Big Head Endian, Conco Construction, Preferred Family Health, Kansas Veterans’ Home and KSOK Radio.

Officials say companies have about 300 positions they need to fill.
