Spirit AeroSystems has signed a multi-year supply agreement with Scandinavian Airlines to supply spare parts for the airline's fleet of 737 aircraft.
The contract will enable the airline to get predictable and competitive pricing for 737 parts in Spirit's catalogs and ensure the availability of key parts and components, Spirit officials said Friday.
"The supply agreement demonstrates our commitment to customer fleet support and the confidence our customers have in Spirit as the original producer for the majority of the 737 Next-Generation airframe," Rod Cheatham, Spirit's interim vice president and general manager of aftermarket customer support, said in a statement.
Scandinavian Airlines operates 74 Boeing 737 airplanes.
