Convenient health foods from kiosks latest idea at 1 Million Cups
The founder of a company that aims to get high-quality and popular health foods into high-volume locations – including schools – made a presentation Wednesday at Wichita’s 1 Million Cups.
1 Million Cups ICT is a weekly gathering designed to aid entrepreneurs by making contacts in the community and gaining awareness. It meets Wednesdays from 9 to 10 a.m. Next week’s event will be at Wichita State University’s Old Town offices, 238 N. Mead.

Founder: Jason Fisher
Pitch: Fisher owned the cafe at the Downtown YMCA but went out of business in December after he grew too quickly. He hopes to start a new business focused on a few popular convenience health foods, such as smoothies, sold through kiosks in high-traffic areas such as gyms, shopping centers and schools.
Status: Still in the concept stage.
