Hartman Arena, casino among sites for statewide job fair

Hartman Arena in Park City and the Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane will be among nine locations to participate in the KansasWorks statewide job fair on Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Besides Park City and Mulvane, locations are Concordia, Emporia, Great Bend, Junction City, Kansas City, Pittsburg and Topeka, according to the KansasWorks website.

The fair will be open from 2:30 to 3 p.m. exclusively to active-duty military, Reservists/National Guard, veterans, their families and spouses. Event hours for the public will be 3 to 6:30 p.m.

The fair is co-sponsored by Workforce Centers of South Central Kansas. Job seekers can pre-register for the fair by going to workforce-ks.com.
