Young professionals groups offer chance to meet candidates

Young Professionals of Wichita and Wichita Urban Professionals are teaming up to offer their members and guests an opportunity to meet with mayoral candidates.

The event is planned for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, at Hungry Heart, 222 S. Commerce St.

Brief remarks from the candidates will begin at 6 p.m., and the rest of the event will be informal discussions or chats between candidates and those attending.

According to an e-mail from YPW, eight of 10 candidates have confirmed that they will attend.
