The price of high quality farm land in Kansas has remained strong in 2016, despite lower crop prices, according to brokerage Farmer’s National.

Irrigated crop land remains at about $5,000 an acre, the same as last year, and is still selling well.

But lower quality ground, while is still high historically, is down a lot from its peak of three to four years ago, according to the company.
