Program to offer free cab rides on New Year's Eve in Wichita

To keep people from driving drunk on New Year's Eve, Best Cabs and AAA will once again be offering free rides home.

The Care Cab program is available to anyone in the Wichita city limits.

The free cab service will run from 10 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday.

The cab will provide a ride from a drinking establishment or party to a residence. It will not transport people to other drinking establishmentsor from a residence to a drinking establishment.
