Some mornings are better than others – just ask the man who was driving a rental truck east on Waterman in downtown Wichita Friday morning.

The Ryder truck became wedged under the railroad overpass in the 600 block of East Waterman near Intrust Bank Arena, a Sedgwick County dispatcher said. The incident was reported at 8:46 a.m. A sign on the overpass indicates there is 12 feet of clearance underneath.

The driver had to call for a tow truck. The vehicle was still jammed under the bridge more than 90 minutes after the collision occurred.
