Wichita State’s Cleanthony Early and Fred VanVleet added to their haul of post-season honors on Wednesday.

The National Association of Basketball Coaches named Early to its second-team All-America squad and VanVleet to the third team. Kansas freshman Andrew Wiggins joined Early on the second team.

Early, a senior forward, averaged 16.4 points and 5.9 rebounds, ending his career with 31 points in Sunday’s loss to Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament. VanVleet, a sophomore guard, averaged 11.6 points and 5.4 assists.

Early was named to the USBWA All-America second team earlier this month. VanVleet, the Missouri Valley Conference’s Player of the Year, was named to The Sporting News’ third team.
