Wichita State website seeks input on social media policy

A group sorting out social media policy for public universities in Kansas has completed draft recommendations and wants to know what people think before proceeding further, according to a prepared statement from Wichita State University.

The current policy drew criticism when it was announced last year. The Kansas Board of Regents, which oversees the universities, formed a group from faculty and staff from all the schools to revise policy and address faculty concerns.

WSU’s representatives on the group created a website to gather ideas and suggestions through March 28, the statement said.

The website is at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?2783
