Wichita man sentenced for sexually assaulting woman in long-term care facility
A Wichita man has been sentenced to more than 10 years in prison for aggravated sexual battery of a woman while he was working at a long-term care facility where she was a resident.
James Robert Tolliver, 64, was sentenced Monday to 130 months in prison by Harvey County District Judge Joe Dickenson, according to a news release from Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt’s Office.
He was found guilty in December by a Harvey County jury of aggravated sexual battery of a 61-year-old woman at a facility in Sedgwick. Tolliver was employed at the time by the facility as a certified nurse assistant.
