Animal Planet to air Kansas episode of ‘Finding Bigfoot’ on Sunday
At long last, Bigfoot has come to Kansas.
The Animal Planet’s hit TV show “Finding Bigfoot” will air its findings of Bigfoot in Kansas on Sunday at 9 p.m.
In a description of the show, the Animal Planet website says, “The team travels to the heartland to determine if bigfoots live on the great plains of Kansas. With help from eyewitnesses, they narrow their search to waterways outside of Wichita where they take to the sky and employ a unique baiting technique.”
The show’s episode is called “Bigfoot of Oz.”
Last January, a television crew and producers of the show came to Kansas and hosted a town hall meeting at the Kansas Aviation Museum. About 150 people from around the state showed up for the meeting.
Some told stories of seeing the big, hairy, elusive animal in western Kansas, near Kingman, Cheney Lake, El Dorado Lake and the Big Ditch, Wichita’s flood control project.
