Republican precinct committee members to meet Tuesday to select Rep. Hermanson’s replacement

Republican precinct committee members will meet Tuesday to select a new member of the Kansas House of Representatives to replace Phil Hermanson, who recently resigned the position.

Hermanson stepped down from the Legislature to focus his attention on a new job and family matters, following his marriage in September.

He has moved out of the 98th District where he was elected.

The meeting to choose his successor will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, 125 S. Delos, Haysville.
