Sebelius speaks, says Obama didn’t know of problems until health care site went live

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said Tuesday that President Barack Obama didn’t know of all the problems with the new health insurance website until the site had gone public.

In an interview on CNN, Sebelius promised that fixes were on the way.

“No one could be more frustrated than I am and the president,” she said.

A host of high-tech wizards are now working on the site. Asked why those folks weren’t involved from the beginning, Sebelius put the blame on the contractors.

“We (had) hoped that they had their 'A-Team' on the table” from the start, she said of the contractors and agencies responsible for the project.
