Public offered a first-hand inspection of Southeast High

Members of the public can take a tour of Southeast High School on Monday as they consider whether the district should renovate the school, build a new one, or both.

Tours of the school, 903 S. Edgemoor, will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The Wichita school board has been debating whether to expand and renovate the current Southeast High, build a new one at 127th Street East and Pawnee, or both. Members intend to approve a plan June 24.

Wichita school leaders will collect input during several meetings scheduled this month.

Child care will be provided, and Spanish and Vietnamese translators will be available.
