Trial date set in Wichita inflatables license case
A Municipal Court trial date has been set for Aug. 10 for an operator of a Wichita inflatable-ride business who is facing two misdemeanor city complaints for operating without a license.
Jesse Zogleman’s attorney, Kevin Zolotor requested the trial.
Zogleman was served in May by Wichita police with two criminal complaints for operating an amusement ride company without being properly licensed. The city also ordered Zogleman to stop operating Moonwalks for Fun and Pure Entertainment until the issue is cleared up.
Moonwalks for Fun owns inflatables; Pure Entertainment has the rides at its events. Both are located in the same west Wichita building near Tyler and Kellogg.
The City Council revoked Moonwalks for Fun’s license to operate inside the city limits in June 2011 because of a lapse in liability coverage. The complaints against Zogleman cite two instances where Moonwalks for Fun had contracts to rent its inflatables in Wichita since revocation.
