Hearing continued in Wichita inflatables case
Arraignment was continued until July 3 for a Wichita inflatables business operator facing misdemeanor city complaints for operating without a license.
Jesse Zogleman was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Municipal Court, but court officials said his attorney Kevin Zolotor entered an appearance and the hearing was continued.
Zogleman was served earlier this month by Wichita police with two criminal complaints for operating an amusement ride company without being properly licensed. The city also ordered Zogleman to stop operating Moonwalks for Fun and Pure Entertainment until the issue is cleared up. Both complaints cover city ordinance violations.
Moonwalks for Fun owns inflatables, and Pure Entertainment has the rides at its events venue, both located in the same west Wichita building near Tyler and Kellogg.
The City Council revoked Moonwalks for Fun’s license to operate inside the city limits in June 2011 because of lapse in liability coverage. The complaints against Zogleman cite two instances where Moonwalks for Fun had contracts to rent its inflatables in Wichita since the revocation.
