Reformation Lutheran Church will offer workshops next month to teach and inform people about a caregiving ministry called the Stephen Series.
The workshops will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 28 at the church, 7601 E 13th St.
The purpose is informational, to show members of any interested congregation how the Stephen Series and the Stephen ministry works.
A website about the Stephen ministers say that they care for people inside and outside a congregation, including those experiencing grief, divorce, job loss, terminal illness, loneliness, spiritual crisis, hospitalization, relocation, and other life difficulties. Men are matched with men, women with women. Caring relationships last for as long as the person needs this level of care.
