McPherson police arrest man after finding body

McPherson police have arrested a 24-year old McPherson man after finding a body in Marion County.

According to the McPherson Police Department, someone reported to police Sunday that Justin Milne of McPherson might be a victim of foul play.

Milne's burning black 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe was found in Marion County at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday, although Milne wasn't found at the scene.

Officers found the suspect in the area near the burning vehicle.

After a search on Monday, a body was found in Marion County. Family identified the body as Milne's.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation helped with the investigation. The Kansas Highway Patrol, Kansas Wildlife and Parks, McPherson County and Marion County sheriff's departments also assisted.
