Services planned for two victims of car accident
WICHITA — A joint service will be held Monday for Kylie Jobe and Kyle Thornburg, who were killed in a car accident Wednesday near Wilson.
The service will be held at 2 p.m. at Central Community Church, 6100 W. Maple.
Jobe, 20, and Thornburg, 22, were killed about 2 a.m. Wednesday when a pickup traveling the wrong way on I-70 hit their vehicle. They were returning from a family ski trip in Colorado. Both were graduates of Maize High School.
The driver of the pickup, 27-year-old Joseph Pena, also was killed.
The accident happened about five miles east of Wilson in Ellsworth County.
