Wichita weather: Warmup continues under sunny skies

Temperatures should climb into the low to mid-50s today under sunny skies in the Wichita area, forecasters say.

North winds will stay in the single digits and shift to the east later in the day. Overnight lows will slide down to about freezing, and Tuesday should be warmer still – with highs in the upper 50s and more sunshine, forecasters say.

Wednesday looks better still, with highs in the 60s, and Thursday could reach the mid-70s. Yes, it’s still mid-February.
