Body found near El Dorado a 19-year-old Wichita man

Butler County authorities and Wichita police are investigating the homicide of a 19-year-old Wichita man, German Luis Clerici. Clerici's remains were found Saturday on the side of a road southwest of El Dorado.

"We are working with Wichita homicide on this due to fact he was missing out of Wichita," Butler County Sheriff Craig Murphy said Sunday.

A man's body was discovered around 3 p.m. Saturday in the 8000 block of Southwest Boyer Road, by someone walking the rural road, Murphy said. Authorities identified the body and released his name Sunday afternoon.

"There is a lot about him we don't know," Murphy said. "I know my guys and the Wichita PD have been talking to whoever they can trying to figure out what the heck was going on."

Clerici was reported missing Feb. 1 to Wichita police.
