MU's Coffman, Maclin are AP All-Americans

Missouri tight end Chase Coffman and wide receiver Jeremy Maclin made the Associated Press All-America first team, and linebacker Sean Weatherspoon was named to the third team.

Coffman and Maclin were the top receivers on one of the nation's most potent offenses. Maclin led the Tigers with 95 receptions and 12 touchdown catches. He made the All-America team as an all-purpose player.

Coffman, who last week won the Mackey Award as the nation's top tight end, caught 83 passes with 10 touchdowns.

Weatherspoon led Missouri with 138 tackles and 16 tackles for loss.

Oklahoma's Sam Bradford was named first-team quarterback and was joined on the first team by Oklahoma State wide receiver Dez Bryant, Texas Tech wide receiver Michael Crabtree, Sooners offensive lineman Duke Robinson and Texas defensive end Brian Orapko.
