Adopt a pet (Feb. 14)

Jazz the Go Getter, a 6-year-old female Labrador retriever-pointer mix, is available from Kansas Humane Society.

Why am I smiling? Well, I was just thinking about my forever home and how wonderful it would be to have that for all of eternity. Just daydream with me about how amazing it’ll be once we’re together. We can frolic in the dog park, play fetch, and you could even teach me some cool tricks. Our adventures together will always change, but my love for you will forever stay the same. Your new friend for life is waiting for you right here at KHS.

Also available:

▪ Ozzy the Life of the Party, 3-year-old male American pit bull terrier mix

What’s that? Wait … what’s that? Oh, there are just so many new things to experience and see once I have been adopted by you, and I want to be right in the middle of it all. I’m funny, silly, loyal and loving, so if you were looking for the complete package, you’re looking in the right place. Stop by KHS so we can finally meet.

▪ Gnocchi the Goofball, 1-year-old male American pit bull terrier mix

Hello there, everyone. I know you can’t see me right now, but I’m totally giving you my “please adopt me” face. Is it working? Adding a little love and adventure to your life is never a bad thing. Hurry on over to KHS and let’s adopt each other.

▪ Echo the Personal Assistant, 2-year-old male cat, domestic long-hair mix

Look at my beautiful orange and white coat! If that doesn’t win you over, gosh, I don’t know what will. My name is Echo, and I am looking for a new residence. In my head I was picturing a nice home with lots of open space to run around and be silly in. I’m describing your house? Wonderful! I can’t wait to see you at KHS.

Annie the Private Investigator, 7-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix

Raise your hand if you love cute felines! Now keep it raised if you value companionship and trustworthiness. OK, now if your hand is still raised you have to come adopt me. I’m the purr-fect gal for you because I’m already experienced in the art of being a great kitty companion. Come seal the deal and visit KHS today.
