Adopt a pet (Aug. 20, 2016)
Lola the Goofball, a 3-year-old female American pit bull terrier mix, 35 pounds, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.
Hey there. I am a glass half-full kind of dog, and nothing can break my spirit. I hope you like to laugh because I’m a very funny girl. I love making people smile and hope I can do that for you. I’m so excited to go to my forever home. I can’t wait to meet you.
Also available from KHS:
RumJack the Goofball, 7-month-old male Labrador retriever mix, 44 pounds
Hello, I’m cute and goofy. If you want some fun laughs in your life, choose me. We’ll have so much fun together going for walks and stuff. We can play, too. I promise to be the best dog I can be and to be your bestest friend forever and ever.
Miss Laurabell the Private Investigator, 2-year-old female cat, domestic medium-hair mix
I’ll be working undercover to keep an eye on you and your household. I can vanish into thin air if anyone or anything interferes with my investigation. If you need a cat that knows how to stay out of trouble and will always keep your secrets, I might just take your case.
Sydney the Personal Assistant, 1-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix
I am happy, healthy and extra helpful. I love being around my people and doing whatever I can to make their lives better. I’m great at sitting in laundry baskets, stepping on keyboards and licking plates clean. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, too. The longer we live together, the more ways I will learn to help. Come meet me and take me home today.
Frosty the Sidekick, 6-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix
Come follow me, I know how to have the most fun. Let’s play together first, and then perhaps we will work on our tan in that ray of sunshine. After lunch we can invent a new game with some paper, and then take some time off to have a purrfect nap together. How is our day sounding to you? If you want a new companion as much as I do, please come take me home.
