Tommy Boy
Tommy Boy Kansas Humane Society

Tommy Boy, a 6-year-old male domestic shorthair mix, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.

As you can probably tell from my picture, I’m a pretty cool cat. I’m a pretty big deal around here. The staff at the shelter even call me the “Leader of the Pack” because I’m outgoing and adventurous. No mice get past me. I love to chase down little bugs too. My former owner said I kept all those annoying pests away, but sadly they had to move away and couldn’t take me with them. So now I’m looking for a new home to prowl. Do you have room in your heart and home for me?

Also available:

▪ Ivy, 2-year-old female domestic shorthair mix

I’m Ivy, and I’m a pretty outgoing girl. I even get along with dogs. At my old home, I’d play with my canine friend all the time. My family laughed at me because I even tried to help groom the big guy. I’d rub up against him and lick him clean. Those dogs are so messy, you know. Not like me. I’m a perfect little lady who prefers to keep herself clean. That way my paws aren’t dirty when I go to cuddle up in a human’s lap. Could I curl up with you?

▪ Kiki, 7-year-old female domestic shorthair

I’m what they call a “purr-sonal assistant” cat. I’m happy to just hang out with you and lend a paw wherever you need help. Unfortunately my last family was allergic to me, so my attempts to help just made them sneeze. But I’d love to help you. Need some help around the house? I’ll help you press the computer keys, hold down pages in a book, or keep your lap warm during your favorite TV show. You’ll wonder how you ever managed without me.

▪ Clarabelle, 3-year-old female Labrador retriever mix

I may be a mixed breed, but the staff here at the shelter tell me I’m the prototypical Lab; loyal, loving and just plain goofy. I think life is better with a smile on your face, so I greet everyone I meet with an enthusiastic tail wag and a smile. I make it my goal to make them smile too. Give this goofy girl a chance to make you smile and come visit me today at the Kansas Humane Society.

▪ Oatmeal Raisin, 2-year-old male Plott Hound mix

I’m Oatmeal Raisin, but some folks here at the shelter call me Oattie. They also tell me I’m the “life of the party” because I always bring the fun. I just think life is too short to waste lying around like a bump on a log. This world has so many fun things to play with and explore. But every adventure is better with a good co-pilot. Can I be yours?
