Adopt a pet (March 26)
Mozart the Goofball, a 2-year-old male Labrador retriever mix, 61 pounds, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.
I may have an unusual walk, but I’m not letting that slow me down for one second. I absolutely love to run and play, and my aim is to please you and be the perfect gentleman for my new owners. My second chance is taking a little longer than most others, but I know it’s out there somewhere. Come visit me at KHS today.
Also available:
▪ Apollo the Couch Potato, 8-year-old male Belgian Malinois mix, 54 pounds
Wanted: Loving family that will provide for me and love me. I promise that I will show all the love I have for you. I don’t really know my own size, so I may even try to curl up in your lap (ha ha). If a mellow guy that enjoys short walks and lots of attention is what you’re looking for, I think you just found him. Maybe this will be the beginning of a wonderful friendship.
▪ Dr. Hershey the Go Getter, 7-year-old male Labrador retriever mix, 74 pounds
I’m a happy dog, happiest when I’m getting a lot of exercise. If you’re an active person, we will be a perfect match. We can run and play and run and play all day long. Oh, boy. My tail is wagging a mile a minute just thinking about the happy future ahead of us. Hope to see you soon.
▪ Patsy the Personal Assistant, 10-year-old female cat, domestic medium-hair mix
I’m an older lady easing into retirement, but I can still help you around the house. I’m qualified to do such helpful things as push the keys while you’re on the computer, sit in the basket while you fold laundry, and then help you relax when we’re all done. Come hear my beautiful purr at KHS.
▪ Tiggan the Personal Assistant, 3-year-old male cat, domestic shorthair mix
Let me clue you in on a little something: If you’re in the market for a sweet cat that will never leave your side, you’re looking in the right place. Whatever you’re up to, I want to be doing that as well. Adopt me today and you’ll see why we were meant to be together. Whatcha waiting for?
