Roxie, a darling dachshund-Chihuahua mix, is available for adoption from Pals Animal Rescue. At about 8 months of age, she is a fast learner. She has mastered the doggie door, learned to come to her new name and responds to commands very well. She is always ready to have fun, either playing with the other foster dogs or entertaining her foster mom with her toys. She caught on to what the word “walk” means and enjoys her daily exercise with her foster mom. Meet her and other Pals dogs Saturday at PetSmart on North Rock Road.
Also available from Pals:
▪ Macie is a shy little girl who makes you earn her trust. She is great with other dogs but likes to be the “female dog in charge.” She is crate- and house-trained. Once she knows you, she loves cuddling up to watch TV or help you read a good book. She’s active and needs lots of chew toys to keep her occupied when you can’t.
▪ Oliver is a smart little guy. He is part Corgi and as such sometimes has a mind of his own. Smart as a whip and always ready for a challenge. House-trained and good with other dogs. He enjoys walks in the park, or wherever, and is always ready to meet new people.
▪ Banjo is a delightful little girl. Most orange tabbies are males, but she is a female about 8 months old. She has lots of energy, enjoys her play toys yet will cuddle with you, especially on cold winter days. She is one of many cats and kittens that will be at PetSmart on North Rock Road on Sunday.
