Santa to pose for photos with pets

Santa Paws will be in Wichita and Derby this month, posing for photos with pets and raising money for animal-related causes.

All Paws Pet Center will hold photo sessions from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 5 at its two Wichita stores, 1444 N. Maize Road and 2250 N. Rock Road. At the same time on Dec. 12, Santa will pose with pets at All Paws’ Derby store at 1821 E. Madison Ave.

Photos cost $10, with all money raised going to Wichita’s LAPP animal rescue. For more information, call 316-773-7297.

Also on Dec. 5 and 12, Santa will be at the Spay-Neuter Kansas clinic, 319 S. Hydraulic, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Money raised will benefit Spay-Neuter Kansas and Pals Animal Rescue.

Ten dollars will buy a photo in a card frame plus an e-mailed electronic copy. Pets can pick out a toy from the toy chest, and spiced apple cider and cookies will be available.

The clinic will also be accepting donations of paper towels, liquid laundry detergent, hydrogen peroxide, distilled water, pens, pencils and copy paper. For more information, call 316-263-4200.
