Adopt a pet (Nov. 20)
Catalina the Wallflower, a 5-year-old female American pit bull terrier mix, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.
Sometimes I just wonder how some people can resist me. It must take an incredible amount of strength to hold in your admiration. I’m an absolute sweetheart if you’ll just give me the chance. And if you adopt me, think of all the walks we can take together and how much fun we’ll have. I’m just a hop, a skip and a jump away here at KHS.
Also available:
▪ Dash the Life of the Party, 1-year-old male American pit bull terrier mix
I can already tell that we have one thing in common: we’re both searching for a new best friend. Perhaps we were meant for each other. Love, companionship and loyalty all come in a bundle with four paws. Let’s mark this day on our calendar as the day you adopted me into the family.
▪ Peanut the Secret Admirer, 1-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix
I was hoping you could come meet me because I know that when you do, you’ll want to take me home. I love to purr and be petted, but I am a busy girl that always has to be on the move. I look forward to my time with you at KHS.
▪ Trista the Personal Assistant, 2-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix
I’m just a super nice, quiet girl that likes to rub against anyone willing to let me. KHS is assisting me with my search of a new home, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to find someone. I love to be stroked, and I’ll even curl up in your lap and give you sweet purrs. Hurry here so we can get started with the process.
▪ Callie the Leader of the Band, 3-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix
Callie here: Don’t you think my name is fitting, seeing as how I have such pretty calico markings? Everybody who walks by comments on how pretty I am. I’m an adventurous little girl and pretty independent, but I know how to make time to show you how much I love and appreciate you. Come by KHS to be swept off your feet by my beauty.
