Do you need a new best friend? I’m afraid I got myself turned around and couldn’t find my way home, so now I’m here at the Kansas Humane Society looking for a new family to take me in and love me. I just know I could be a good family dog; I happily greet everyone with a wag of my tail. Plus I’ve got plenty of energy to play and accompany you on your daily errands. Oh please come see me. I promise you’ll be happy you did.

Don’t let my wheelchair fool you. I’m a dog on a mission: a mission to find a new home! When I first came to the Kansas Humane Society I was hurt pretty badly. I had ruptured a disc in my back and couldn’t move my back legs. But the staff here has helped me so much. They gave me this awesome wheelchair and now there’s no stopping me. I love to follow my foster mom around her house and she says I keep up just fine with the other dogs. She’s been taking me to physical therapy and I’ll slowly learning to walk again. I’m keeping my paws crossed and working as hard as I can during therapy. Now I just need someone to take me to my sessions. Do you have room for me in your heart? The staff will let you take my wheelchair and everything else I’ll need. They’ll even set up someone to watch me if you ever need to go on vacation. So call the humane society today to set up a meeting with my foster family. I promise I’ll be a good boy.

I’m a lady of mystery. I came to the Kansas Humane Society as a stray so the staff here doesn’t know much about my history, but I’ll tell you all about it if only you’ll come visit me. After all, getting to know each other is the fun part. And trust me, to know me is to love me. Once my golden eyes meet with yours, you’re sure to fall for me. So stop by the shelter today. It could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

I’m a sophisticated kind of cat looking for a quiet home to settle down in. I can be a little shy around new people, but just give me some time and a little TLC and I’ll be purring in your lap in no time. Once we get to know each other I’ll happily greet you at the door and rub up against you when you come home from a long day at work. You can unwind by playing with my laser pointer and then we can curl up on the couch together. Won’t you come meet me?
