Adopt a pet (Sept. 12)

Solo, a 10-month-old male domestic shorthair cat, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.

Do you have a quiet place for me to stay? When I first came to the shelter, all the new sights and smells really scared me, so a foster family took me to live with them. After a day or so I realized how nice they were and started to come out of my shell. Now I follow them around the house and meow to tell them “hello” when they come home. I love when they brush me, and play time is fun too. My favorite toys are a laser pointer, a wand and shoe strings. And after I’m done playing I like cat naps up high in a tall cat tree. If you think I would be a purrfect fit for your home, please call the Kansas Humane Society to set up a visit with my foster family.
