Adopt a pet (Aug. 1)
Munroe is one of three Great Pyrenees available for adoption from Pals Animal Rescue. He is 10 months old and a gentle giant. He loves to please and knows most basic commands. Munroe and other Pals dogs will be at PetSmart, 3615 N. Rock Road in Wichita, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

▪ Jackson, a Jack Russell terrier mix, is a smart little guy who loves to please and seems to know just what you want him to do. He’s good with other dogs and loves people. He will be shown at Petco in Derby from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, along with five other great companion dogs. They are eager to meet people to see if they can find that perfect match.
▪ Misty has been with Pals for quite some time. She is a very gentle sweetheart and does well with other cats and with dogs. She is hoping to find her “special person” this weekend when she will be one of several Pals cats being shown at Petsmart on North Rock Road in Wichita from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
