Adopt a pet (Oct. 11)
▪ Finnigan the Wallflower, a 4-year-old male Labrador retriever mix, is available for adoption from the Kansas Humane Society.
Watch out! Big, cuddly, lovable lab coming through. I’m a big dog that has a big heart, and I hope I can find a new best friend. We can do all kinds of fun stuff together like take walks and play ball, and I can curl up next to your feet for your favorite TV show. What do you think? Please come give me a chance at KHS.
Among the other pets that are available:
▪ Haley the Goofball, 1-year-old female Treeing Walker coonhound mix
Would you, by chance, be looking for an intelligent dog with a goofball personality? My research shows that you could thoroughly benefit from a dog like me. I’m an affectionate, clever girl with one goal in mind: to make my pet parents happy and proud. Come out for a visit at KHS and let me shower you with love and doggy kisses.
▪ Oliver the Leader of the Band, 3-year-old male domestic shorthair mix
I’m the kind of cat that likes to step up and step out in life – you know, take charge and all that. I see the world as water bowls half-full. Although, if the water bowl is half-full, go ahead and top it off for me. The only thing I need in life is a human to call my own and complete me. You can find me at KHS, so go ahead and visit soon.
▪ Bea the Personal Assistant, 4-year-old female domestic medium-hair mix
I’m a really sweet girl and one heck of a lap kitty. Oh, and I’ll even do this cute thing where I roll around once I get to know you. The shelter life here has been a little confusing for me, but I love the humans that I’ve met and I can warm up to them quickly. I’ll warm up to you, too. Please come see me at KHS.
▪ Chance, 2-month-old male domestic shorthair mix
Take a chance on me. Get it? My name is Chance and – oh, never mind, I’m sure you understood. I’m bouncing with anticipation that I may go home with you. I’ll be forever grateful to you for taking me in and raising me under your wing. Let’s see what life has in store for us. Come visit me at KHS soon.
