RETAIN dog wash open July 4 in Bel Aire
The RETAIN summer dog wash will be happening July 4 and every other Saturday through Sept. 5, weather permitting.
The service is from 1 to 4 p.m. outside Heartland Animal Hospital, 4100 N. Woodlawn in Bel Aire. For $5, volunteers will bathe, rinse and towel off dogs of any size.
Proceeds go to Responsible and Ethical Treatment of Animals in Neighborhoods, a local group that helps pay for spay and neuter surgeries for pets whose owners can’t afford them.
