Bailey the Go Getter, a 1-year-old female Labrador retriever-Treeing Tennessee Brindle mix, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.

I’m a fabulous dog in need of a fabulous friend. I’m big on exercise, so if you’re looking for an active dog that will keep you on your heels, I’m the one for you. Put on those running shoes and swing by KHS to see what I’m all about. That would make my day.

Also available:

▪ Oscar the Life of the Party, 4-year-old male boxer mix

Scooby dooby doo, where are you? All right, I’m not Scooby Doo, but we sure do look alike. I’m looking for a super pal that I can solve mysteries with. Maybe we can figure out what the noise coming from downstairs is, or who the mysterious man is that leaves paper in the box outside. Sounds like quite the adventure, so come see me at KHS today.

▪ Ferdinand the Personal Assistant, 4-year-old male cat, domestic shorthair mix

Who’s in need of the perfect houseguest? I’m an easygoing, affectionate kitty that loves to be petted. I’ll even roll over for you and stretch out for belly rubs. I promise not to be a bother; when it’s time to be fed, I’ll use my paw to lightly tap your leg. Yeah, I know I’m adorable. I’m currently in foster care, so call KHS to arrange a visit with me.

▪ Nela, 4-month-old female kitten, domestic shorthair mix

Can’t you see that I’m waving “hello”? I’m just an adorable kitten that likes to play and would love to curl up next to you and take cat naps together. I’m hoping that I can say “hello” to my new forever home soon. Come visit me at KHS so we can get acquainted.

▪ Harley, 6-month-old male kitten, domestic shorthair mix

Hi, would you like a cool cat? I’m named after a Harley Davidson motorcycle, which is pretty cool. And I only come in one color, sleek black. I’m an active kitten, and I get along with other animals pretty well. Snuggling may not be my bread and butter, but I can sure follow you and keep you entertained with my playful ways. I’m currently in foster care, so call KHS to arrange a visit with me.
