Wichita Kennel Club meeting to feature arson dog
The public is invited to a meeting of the Wichita Kennel Club on Monday that will feature a firefighter and his arson dog.
Stuart Bevis, a battalion chief with the Wichita Fire Department, and his arson dog will be the special guests for the meeting, which starts at 7 p.m. at the Wichita Kennel Club building, 3448 N. Emporia. Bevis will speak about the work of an arson dog.

Veterinarian to discuss acupuncture, laser therapy for pets
Skaer Veterinary Clinic will hold a special presentation on acupuncture and laser therapy for pets on May 16.
The session, which starts at 1:30 p.m. at the clinic, 404 S. Edgemoor, will feature veterinarian Jan Hinshaw. Hinshaw is a certified canine rehabilitation practitioner and a certified veterinary medical acupuncturist. She will talk about how new technology and treatments can help relieve pain and inflammation and stimulate nerve regeneration to make a pet more comfortable.

Bunny behavior the topic at Bunny TNT meeting
Bunny TNT, an organization for bunny lovers, will have its next meeting May 17 at the Garvey Center, 250 W. Douglas. Enter through the north door off Water Street and take the elevator to the lower level. The meeting will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
The topic for the meeting is bunny behavior, and there will be an area where bunnies can socialize.
