Animal rescue group saves 50 dogs from ‘hoarder home’
Fifty small dogs have been rescued from a “hoarder home” outside of Wichita, according to Unleashed Pet Rescue and Adoption.
“There were 50 little dogs living...trying to survive,” the animal rescue group, based out of Mission, posted to Facebook. “They didn’t have enough food, no one took care of them, they were not loved.”
The group has 23 of the 50 dogs – three are pregnant – now safe at Unleashed. The remaining dogs were sent to another rescue, according to the post on Tuesday, Nov. 14.
“When people say in rescue that it never ends, there is always another animal that needs your help...it is the absolute truth,” Unleashed posted on Facebook.
Unleashed Pet Rescue and Adoption is asking for donations to help care for the dogs. You can do so at https://www.paypal.me/UnleashedPetRescue.
They said they will continue to post photos and videos of the puppies on their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/UnleashedPetRescue/.
