The Sedgwick County Animal Response Team will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a Triple Dirty Dog Dare dog wash on June 10.

The dog wash raises money for the all-volunteer, emergency animal response team in Sedgwick County and is its biggest yearly fundraiser.

The dog wash will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at all three All Paws Pet Centers: 1444 N. Maize Road, 2244 N. Greenwich and 1921 E. Madison in Derby.

Volunteers will wash dogs for a suggested donation of $20 per dog. People can learn how to prepare pets for a disaster and how to get involved as an animal response team volunteer, plus shop for pet “go-bag” supplies.

The Sedgwick County Animal Response Team is dedicated to help ensure the safety and welfare of animals affected by natural and manmade disasters, to educate and train the public and to help minimize the effects on people and their pets. Find out more at www.kssart.org.
