Family Dog Training, 6106 N. 69th St. North in Valley Center, will hold special classes for dogs and their owners the week of Feb. 23-26.

An interactive workshop Monday and Wednesday will focus on professional therapy dog laws and how professionals are partnering with their dogs in various settings. It starts at 6 p.m. and costs $40 for the two-day session.

The theme Tuesday and Thursday is Leash Work Redux, an intensive course designed to break down leash work in small increments, teach it step by step and give owners the tools that will make them and their dog feel more comfortable and confident while on a walk. Class time is 6 p.m., and the cost is $40 for the two-day session.
