Food grants available from Kansas Alliance for Wellness

Nonprofits and governmental food and farm advisory councils can apply for a grant program that will fund efforts to provide healthy, local food access around Kansas.

The Kansas Alliance for Wellness, a project of the American Heart Association, will award grants ranging form $10,000 to $20,000.

The grant projects could range from healthy food guidelines in public places like parks, museums, or public libraries, to projects that attract local grocers that sell healthy food.
